British Loyalty Wreck
The British Loyalty Wreck in Addu Atoll is a significant historical artifact of a British oil tanker that was sunk by a Japanese submarine during World War II 11th January 1944.
This remarkable underwater wreck is situated close to Hulhudhoo island. The dive site lays at a depth of approximately 33 meters featuring remains of the tanker, which include sections of the hull, propeller and machinery, amidst clear waters.
The British Loyalty Wreck is significantly popular amongst historians interested in World War II relics as it offers enthusiasts a chance to witness a piece of wartime history up close.
